Despite the increased memory timings, the 1:1 versus 5:4 ratio change and increment in bandwidth from stock 800MHz to 1140MHz memory bus provides an 8% increase in memory speeds, while maintaining the same latency.

Disk Performance:

The SATA read tests were conducted with HD Tach 3.0.1.0's 8MB zone test.

The RAID 0 boot drive made from two 150GB Western Digital Raptors has a massive average bandwidth and despite using on-board RAID and CPU. The Seagate 7200.10 is a perpendicular storage devise which gives it a greater bit density, so 59MB/s average is pretty decent. Typically we see 65MB/s from a 74GB Raptor at 10,000RPM and 50MB/s from a typical 7,200RPM SATA drive.
